For those of you who made your way to the Escapade Music Festival 2022 in Ottawa, this year was a sensational lineup of enthralling events and terrific gigs.

The event celebrated its 12th anniversary this year and took place from June 24 to June 26. The lineup was energetic and emblematic of the festival’s glorious history of bringing together the top artists and DJs to rock Ottawa off their hats every year.

The Canadian capital got nostalgic and remembered why Escapade is the biggest party there and one of the most exciting in the country. It was held at the TD Place Stadium.

Overview of the Escapade 2022 Music Festival

The festival came after a two-year lapse due to Covid, but the festival returned last year at the Ottawa Baseball Stadium in September. The action-packed event promised to make it even grander in 2022, and boy, did they deliver.

They didn’t just extend the festival to three days of extravagant entertainment, but they also featured their biggest lineup yet. And wait till you hear about the top artists who raised the temperature this year.

Some of the biggest and most renowned names in dance music came together with young and creative artists to rock the most exciting stage at the most exciting mid-year festival in Ottawa.

Day 1 of the Escapade Music Festival 2022

The festival’s main stage included explosive opening acts by Lost Kings before Nicky Romero and DJ Tiesto took things into their own hands.

Two additional stages were set outside the stadium, which saw heavy performances by ATLiens and Ganja White Night. The headline performance was made by legendary artist Deadmau5 on the festival’s opening day.

Meanwhile, the Trance stage saw gigs by Cosmic Gate and Markus Schulz, followed by an additional progressive house performance by Audien.

Day 2 of the Escapade Music Festival 2022

The festival’s second day saw the stadium stage taken over by Ophelia Records, along with immersive sets from Kill The Noise, Trivecta, Wooli, Seven Lions, Said The Sky, and more.

Aggravating the crowd’s euphoria, the bass maestro Seven Lions was accompanied by Kill The Noise with devastating synths.

The Trance stage transformed into the House Party Stage and was rocked by GORDO, Duke Dumont, and Solardo.

However, the apex party was at the Mainstage, where crowds got to witness enigmatic performances by swashbucklers DJ Snake and Alan Walker.

Day 3 of the Escapade Music Festival 2022

Attendees of the festival who attended the last day of Escapade 2022 were in for a total banger.

The main stage saw explosive acts by the likes of Don Diablo, Martin Garrix, and Above and Beyond.

The Stadium stage was electrified by Spag Heddy, SVDDEN DEATH, Excision, and SLANDER.

The third stage, which was transformed into the House Party stage, had headliners such as Malaa and other DJ numbers by John Summit, Dom Dolla, and Joel Corry to cap off the sensational event.

The Escapade Music Festival will be back in 2023 for another weekend of fist-pumping action. Just like the shifting trend from 2021 to this year, the 2023 edition will be hosted in another venue with multiple ticket options.

Though the lineup for next year’s event is yet to be announced, some of the biggest names in the dance music genre are set to be back with more mixes and beats.
